Fashion Week
If African Fashion was a novel picture Marianne Fassler as the protagonist. A leading force in a industry spread throughout this continent. Her clothes represent our country and the land we share with other nations, her print mixing is somewhat of an enigma and this time round she gave us a double spectacle. The show split itself in two - starting with another fresh take on clashing ethnic print , jarring silhouettes and accessories that pulled the looks together. The second half was all about their byline “same same, but different” with and entire Marianne Fassler collection floating down the runway in BLACK. Because as the end of the day its actually about a silhouette style that is so timeless it can never date.
ATTITUDE: Same same, but different.
WE ARE LUSTING FOR: The one armed winder & black black skirts.
TEXTILES NOTICED: Clashing prints in true Marianne style & lots of sheer separates in the black collection.
TRENDING: Ethnic prints, two-pieces & sheer.
WE WOKE UP: After a hardcore Halloween party in the jungle.
ONE WORD: Representative.
