Burberry Prorsum Menswear S/S 13

Would you believe it if someone had told you this was the latest collection by Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum for menswear Spring 2013? Unlike his usual classic Old English style of muted tones and slim tailored suits, Burberry has taken a completely new approach by ‘kicking it up a notch’ and adding complete glamour to a collection that would generally be described as classic and timeless. This collection is fashion forward and innovative – a lot more risk taking than its signature look.

The collection was stunning, featuring metallic garments in bright pops of colour! Think metallic fuchsia, blue, yellow, orange and more in a variety of designs – trench coats, silk shirts, tailored straight-leg trousers and jackets, all paired with items that resembled the timeless Burberry Prorsum look we all know so well. Not only that, but even the accessories had taken a new approach – featuring metallic clutch bags for men.
