Colleen Eitzen @ SAFW Review
A very wearable spring collection from Colleen Eitzen, the t-shirting and cotton kept it down to earth, with pops of strong chartreuse and flowing print. The 70s Miami washed-out print was a strong trend at SAFW, Eitzen used it for her silk satin headscarves and an occasional dress or two. The neutrals were done in an antique rose colour, evoking a soft and playful feel, but the yellows and green worked well in stripes and botanical prints, creating a stronger more statement look. The length was midi to long with seam details and panels. We loved the layering and Prada inspired diagonal stripes. Ready for a resort vacation anyone?
